Tim Keeney is a Republican politician serving as First Selectman of Somers, Connecticut. He attended Governor Dummer Academy and went on to study Economics at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. In addition to his role in local government, Keeney has served as a Probate Judge for North Central Connecticut. He resides in Somers, Connecticut, where he is married.
Keeney serves on the Somers Board of Selectmen, which is comprised of a First Selectman, Second Selectman, and Third Selectman, each elected to two-year terms at biennial elections. In the 2025 municipal election, Keeney ran unopposed and was returned to office as First Selectman. The Board of Selectmen meets on the first and third Thursday of each month.
