Thomas DeVivo

Thomas DeVivo is a Democratic politician serving as Mayor of Windham, Connecticut. He has served as mayor for a total of 11 years, with six years as an elected official, and has been re-elected to multiple consecutive terms, most recently winning a fourth consecutive term. His office is located at Windham Town Hall, 979 Main Street, Willimantic, Connecticut.

As mayor, DeVivo has outlined several key infrastructure and community development priorities for the town of Windham, which comprises three districts — North, Center, and South — as well as the Willimantic area. His stated priorities include the repair and upgrade of the historic footbridge connecting Main Street to Pleasant Street, the construction of a new school for primary grades, and the development of a new bridge providing access to more than 50 acres of land behind the local mills, known locally as Mill 4. He has indicated his intent to pursue state and federal funding for these projects in partnership with state legislators.
