Rudolph P. Marconi

Rudolph P. 'Rudy' Marconi is a lifelong Ridgefield, Connecticut native who serves as the First Selectperson of Ridgefield, a full-time salaried position in which he leads the day-to-day administration of the town. He works alongside a five-member Board of Selectpersons and serves as an ex-officio member of all town boards, committees, and commissions. As of 2024, his annual salary was reported at $157,371 according to public payroll records.

Marconi, a Democrat, has held the office of First Selectperson for over two decades. According to his official Facebook page, he has served in the role for 24 years, and public election records confirm he has won multiple terms in office. Most recently, he won his ninth term in a landslide victory over Republican write-in candidate Bob Cousins. He is married and a father, and has identified his commitment to Ridgefield as a central part of his public service.
