Fred Allyn III

Fred Allyn III serves as the Mayor of Ledyard, Connecticut, operating out of Ledyard Town Hall at 741 Colonel Ledyard Highway. He was re-elected to his second term as the town's chief executive officer in November 2019, and most recently appeared on the November 7, 2023 general election ballot, receiving 94.2% of the vote. Prior to serving as Mayor, Allyn served two terms on the Ledyard Town Council, where he held the position of chairman of the Finance Committee and also served on the Land Use, Planning and Public Works Committee.

As Mayor, Allyn oversees the administration of municipal functions for the Town of Ledyard, including policy-making, budget management, and community development. The Mayor's Office works in coordination with other town departments and elected officials.
