Carol Jones

Carol V. Doak-Jones serves as the First Selectman of Deep River, Connecticut, having been elected to the position in the November 7, 2023 general election. She defeated opponent Kathryn A. Russell with 50.8% of the vote. She is a member of the Democratic Party and represents Deep River as part of the Lower Connecticut River Valley Council of Governments (RiverCOG).

Prior to taking office in 2023, Doak-Jones worked for the Town of Deep River for nearly 15 years. She is described as a Certified Connecticut official and has been a resident and volunteer in the Deep River community for over 30 years. As of 2025, she was seeking reelection to the First Selectman position.
