Todd Arcelaschi

Todd Arcelaschi is the Mayor of Winchester, Connecticut, a town that includes the city of Winsted. He was named mayor following the tradition of the Board of Selectmen, in which the top vote-getter in the selectmen election assumes the role of mayor. Arcelaschi, a Republican, earned the position after receiving 1,171 votes in the November 2 election, the highest total among candidates. He serves alongside Town Manager Paul Harrington under Winchester's combined Town Meeting and elected Board of Selectmen form of government. The Board of Selectmen, of which the mayor is a part, derives its powers from the Town Charter and meets twice monthly at Winchester Town Hall.
