About
Thomas Weik is the First Selectman of Morris, Connecticut, a position he has held since first being elected in November 2015. A lifelong resident of Morris, Weik was raised in the town and attended its public schools before pursuing higher education. He and his wife, Lisa, have three daughters who attend Region Six schools.
Prior to serving as First Selectman, Weik built an extensive record of civic involvement in Morris. He volunteered with the Library Board, the Reading Room Committee, and the Bantam Lake Authority, and served two terms on the Morris Board of Selectmen. His election in 2015 marked the beginning of a continued tenure in the town's top executive role, and by 2023 he was seeking a fifth term in office, having received the Republican Party's nomination alongside running mate Denise K. Weik for that election cycle.
As First Selectman, Weik oversees the day-to-day operations of the Town of Morris from Town Hall at 3 East Street. He maintains an open-door policy and is available to constituents in person, by phone, and via email during regular office hours.
