Steven Dunn

Stephen C. Dunn serves as the First Selectman of Brookfield, Connecticut, a position he has held since first being elected in 2015. He is a Democrat who has been nominated by his party for First Selectman on at least five consecutive occasions. Prior to entering public service, Dunn had a long career in the corporate banking world, with professional experience in areas including finance, bonding, management of pension assets, sovereign funds, and insurance. He retired from that career before transitioning into local government.

As First Selectman, Dunn serves as the chief elected official of Brookfield, a town in Fairfield County, Connecticut. His office is located at 100 Pocono Road, Brookfield, CT 06804. Over the course of more than seven years in the role, he has applied his background in finance and corporate management to the administration of town government. He has sought to bring his leadership and financial expertise to municipal operations, including areas such as bonding and pension asset management.
