Samantha Nestor is a Democrat serving as First Selectwoman of Weston, Connecticut. She has held the role of First Selectwoman since August 2021, having previously served as a Selectwoman on the Board of Selectmen from 2018 to 2021 and as a member of the Weston Board of Education from 2017 to 2018. In her role as First Selectwoman, she presides over Board of Selectmen meetings, serves as an ex-officio member of all Town Boards, Commissions, and Committees, and acts as a liaison between the Town of Weston and state, regional, and federal agencies.
Prior to her career in elected office, Nestor was a Founding Partner at Chrysanthemum Partners, a strategic communications consulting firm. In 2025, she was reelected to another term as First Selectwoman, running unopposed. That same year, she announced her candidacy for the 26th State Senate district, following the decision by incumbent State Senator Ceci Maher, a fellow Democrat, not to seek reelection.
