Rose Marie Angeloni serves as Mayor of North Branford, Connecticut, a position in which she leads the Town Council, the legislative body of the town. The Mayor and eight Town Council members are elected to two-year terms and serve without pay. The current 2025-2027 Town Council, of which Angeloni is Mayor, was sworn into office by Town Clerk Lisa Valenti, with Deputy Mayor Jeffrey Macmillen serving alongside her. As Mayor, Angeloni presides over a council that is responsible for enacting ordinances and resolutions, establishing policy for the town, and serving as the Water Pollution Control Authority (W.P.C.A.).
Angeloni has dedicated approximately 27 years of public service to the town of North Branford, during which time she worked full time for the town while also serving in her public roles. In recognition of her extensive public service career, she was named the recipient of the Public Service Women of Excellence award by the Shoreline Chamber of Commerce in Connecticut. Her long record of civic engagement and service to North Branford has been a defining feature of her career in local government.
