Rodney Fournier

Rodney Fournier serves as First Selectman of Bolton, Connecticut, a position he holds as the town's chief elected official. A Republican, Fournier has been a Bolton resident for over 28 years and is the owner and member of Northern Lights Electrical LLC, an electrical contracting business he has operated since 1991. He won the office of First Selectman in the November 7, 2023 general election, defeating Democrat Amanda D. Gordon with 52.1 percent of the vote to Gordon's 47.9 percent. In his role, Fournier works alongside the Board of Selectmen, which includes Deputy First Selectman Robert Morra and fellow selectmen Pamela Sawyer, Amanda Gordon, Gwen Marrion, Tim Sadler, and Mather Clarke, as well as Town Administrator James Rupert.

As First Selectman, Fournier is listed as part of the town's Administration department and serves as a key figure in Bolton's municipal governance. The Board of Selectmen meets regularly to address town business, budgetary matters, and administrative functions. Fournier's background as a small business owner in the electrical trade preceded his entry into elected public service in Bolton.
