Peggy Lyons

Peggy Lyons is the First Selectwoman of Madison, Connecticut, a position she has held since November 2019 after being elected as a Democratic candidate. She serves on the Board of Selectmen, with her current term set to expire on November 8, 2027. Lyons has resided in Madison since 2007 and has been involved in various community volunteer efforts throughout that time.

Lyons holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Cornell University and a Master of Business Administration from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania. In her role as First Selectwoman, she has been involved in overseeing municipal functions including town budget planning, beach and recreation programs, and other community services. Her office regularly publishes community updates addressing town budget workshops, seasonal recreation registration, and local initiatives such as support for programs like Meals on Wheels.
