Patrick Roy

Patrick Roy serves as the First Selectman of Roxbury, Connecticut, a small town in Litchfield County. Roy ran for the position of First Selectman after his predecessor, Barbara Henry, chose not to seek re-election following 24 years in office, at which point Roy determined the time was right to pursue the role. He serves alongside two colleagues on the Board of Selectmen, Russell Dirienzo and Kim Tester.

As First Selectman, Roy has addressed a range of municipal issues including zoning, affordable housing, and bonding. His office oversees the general administration of Roxbury, a town that relies heavily on volunteer service for its Fire and Ambulance departments as well as its various boards and commissions. Roy has emphasized fiscal responsibility, efficient local government operations, infrastructure maintenance, and the delivery of dependable public services as key priorities of his administration.
