Nick Donohue is a Republican politician from Thompson, Connecticut, who currently serves as the town's First Selectman. A Thompson resident, Donohue announced his candidacy for First Selectman in July 2025 alongside fellow Republican Larry Consiglio, who ran for a seat on the Board of Selectmen. In the November 4, 2025 municipal election, Donohue defeated Democratic candidate Andrew Irby by a margin of 1,445 to 751 votes, securing the town's top elected executive position. Consiglio also won his race, giving the Republican ticket a sweep of the Selectmen seats.
