Maureen Nicholson

Maureen Nicholson serves as the First Selectman of Pomfret, Connecticut, functioning as the town's Chief Executive Officer. In this role, she also serves as an ex officio, non-voting member of all town boards and commissions. Pomfret operates under a Town Meeting form of government, with a three-member elected Board of Selectmen and an elected Board of Finance. Nicholson is a Democrat, and the current Board of Selectmen includes Selectman Patrick McCarthy (D) and Selectwoman Martha Emilio (R).
