Kevin Cunningham

Kevin Cunningham serves as the First Selectman of Plainfield, Connecticut, a position he has held for multiple consecutive terms. In the November 2023 general election, Cunningham secured re-election with 62.3% of the vote against opponent Tom Sinkewicz, who received 37.7%. In November 2025, Cunningham was again re-elected, winning a fourth consecutive term as First Selectman. In his role, he serves alongside fellow selectmen Michael Surprenant and Thomas Sinkewicz on the town's Board of Selectmen.
