Jon Trister is the Mayor of Newington, Connecticut, serving as the presiding official of the Newington Town Council. He is a Democrat and has been a resident of Newington for approximately 17 years, residing there with his wife, Roceli, and their two children, John and Charlotte, both of whom attend Newington Public Schools. Trister holds a Master of Public Administration (MPA) from the UConn School of Public Policy.
