Dionna Carlson is a Republican politician serving as First Selectman of New Canaan, Connecticut, the town's chief executive and chief administrative officer. In this role, she is responsible for the procurement and administration of all functions and services required by the Town Charter, and serves alongside the Board of Selectmen in initiating budget requests, acting as purchasing agent for the town, and approving non-elected appointments to Boards, Commissions, and Committees. She can be reached at Town Hall, located at 77 Main Street, New Canaan.

Carlson has resided in New Canaan for over 29 years with her husband David, and raised their family in the community. Two of their three children graduated from New Canaan Public Schools. She was first elected as First Selectman in 2023, defeating Democratic candidate Amy Murphy Carroll by more than 600 votes. In November 2025, Carlson won her second term in an uncontested municipal election, receiving 4,082 votes according to the Connecticut Secretary of the State's office.
