David Barger

David R. Barger is the First Selectman of Canaan (Falls Village), Connecticut, serving as a Democrat representing the town's highest elected executive office. He is currently serving a term running from November 4, 2025 through November 1, 2027, having previously been elected to the position as well, with his First Selectman's blog and news updates on record dating back to at least 2018.
