Connor Martin is the Mayor of East Hartford, Connecticut, having accepted the oath of office on November 13, 2023. He was born in Hartford, Connecticut, but has lived most of his life in East Hartford. He was elected to the East Hartford Town Council at age 28, and prior to his election as mayor, he served as Chief of Staff to Mayor Mike Walsh. He was recognized as a 2025 Hartford Business Journal 40 Under Forty honoree.
Beyond his elected roles, Martin has been active in the East Hartford community through volunteer work, serving as Scholarship Chair and board member of the East Hartford Rotary Club. He is also a 2019 Quest Alumni for Leadership, Greater Hartford. During his tenure as mayor, Martin has worked to secure federal funding for the town, including a $1 million federal grant announced alongside U.S. Representative John B. Larson to replace the town's outdated Fire Station 2 and provide new firefighter training.
