Colin Moll

Colin Moll serves as the First Selectman of Suffield, Connecticut, a position in which he functions as the town's full-time Chief Executive Officer and Chief Administrative Officer under Section 502 of the Town Charter. In this role, he oversees the day-to-day operations of the town, presides over meetings of the Board of Selectmen, and holds ex-officio membership on all town boards, commissions, and agencies. His responsibilities include establishing administrative and personnel policies, managing town buildings and property, and supervising the administration of town affairs in coordination with the Board of Selectmen.

Prior to entering public office, Moll was associated with Northern Nurseries on Mountain Road in West Suffield. He was nominated as the Republican candidate for First Selectman in October 2021 and subsequently took office. During his tenure, Moll launched a home visit initiative designed to make himself more accessible to Suffield residents who are unable to visit town offices in person. His time in office has also included legal proceedings, including a Superior Court ruling that upheld an arbitration decision finding that Moll and the Town of Suffield had retaliated against a Suffield firefighter by refusing to pay him for assuming fire chief responsibilities and later eliminating his position in the 2023 budget.
