Christopher Lippke is a Republican politician serving as First Selectman of Canterbury, Connecticut. He can be reached through the Town of Canterbury's Board of Selectmen office at 860-546-9693. Prior to becoming First Selectman, Lippke served as a selectman on Canterbury's Board of Selectmen for two years.
Lippke was first elected First Selectman in November 2017, defeating Democratic candidate Robert Droesch by a vote of 640 to 475. At the time of his initial election, he was 52 years old. He has since been reelected to the position, winning a subsequent election against Democratic challenger Aaron Spruance by a vote of 518 to 400, according to results posted to the Connecticut Secretary of the State's website.
As First Selectman, Lippke serves on the Board of Directors of the Northeastern Connecticut Council of Governments (NECCOG), a regional planning organization. He works alongside fellow members of the Canterbury Board of Selectmen, which includes Selectman Mark Weeks, among others.
