Annmarie Drugonis is the First Selectwoman of Seymour, Connecticut, having been sworn into office on October 23, 2020. As the town's Chief Elected Official, she leads the Board of Selectpersons, oversees all administrative offices, develops and executes Seymour's strategic initiatives, and monitors the town's finances. She was re-elected to a second term in 2023, defeating Republican challenger Philip Wilhelmy III with 64.7% of the vote, and was subsequently re-elected to a third term in November 2025, defeating Democratic challenger and Selectwoman Theresa Conroy by a vote of 2,387 to 1,822.
Prior to her role in elected office, Drugonis held a career spanning environmental health, safety, and municipal operations. Her professional background includes serving as an Environmental Health and Safety Coordinator at The Hathaway, an Environmental Compliance Manager at Bozzutos, and roles including Deputy First Selectman and Executive Vice President at Facility Support Services. These positions provided her with experience in environmental compliance, administrative management, and municipal operations before her election as First Selectwoman.
