Allan R. Cahill is the First Selectman of Hampton, Connecticut, a small town in Windham County with a population of approximately 2,034. A Republican, Cahill has served as First Selectman since 2011 and was most recently elected to a ninth term, running unopposed, with 405 votes recorded in that election. His current term is set to end on November 16, 2027.

In his role as First Selectman, Cahill oversees the day-to-day operations of Town Hall, the Public Works Department, and general town government, alongside an Administrative Assistant. The Selectmen's Office, where Cahill is available on Tuesdays and Thursdays, handles a range of municipal functions including the processing of firearms permits and raffle applications, as well as questions and complaints involving town highways, bridges, trees, and drainage.
